Members of Guernica 37 Chambers are experienced Barristers and international attorneys specialised in international law. Chambers primarily operates from its office in Central London with associated offices in The Hague, Madrid and San Francisco.
Sir Howard Morrison QC
Sir Howard is a British lawyer with extensive experience in the field of international law and, particularly, international criminal and humanitarian law, having served as a judge at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia
Najib is a member of the Bar of England and Wales. Prior to qualifying as a Barrister he practised in Bangladesh as advocate and worked for six years as a case manager with the defence at the International Crimes Tribunal, Bangladesh.
Ibrahim is a member of the Bar of England and Wales, having completed pupillage in Chambers in 2019. He has developed specialist knowledge and experience in international law, currently applying it to the Middle East and North Africa.
Omar became a Guernica 37 member, following successful completion of his pupillage in September 2020. He is developing a practice across a spectrum of chambers’ practice areas, with a particular focus in international human rights, extradition, international crime and immigration.
John Cubbon joined Guernica 37 International Justice Chambers in 2021. He is an international lawyer with many years’ experience of criminal justice issues arising in fragile and conflict-affected states.
Lucia is a member of the Bar of England and Wales and joined Chambers in June 2021. She accepts instructions in all Chambers’ practice areas, including criminal law, extradition, international law, EU law and human rights law.
Prior to commencing pupillage, Jack spent 3-months interning with Guernica 37’s Academy Internship Programme, as part of which he assisted with a variety of domestic and international work.
