Francis Kiernan is an international business executive with over 30 years’ experience in the Global Commercial Energy Market. Educated in Ireland, the UK and the US, Francis is a Burgess of the City of Aberdeen, a Fellow of the Institute of Engineering Design and a Member of UK Institute of Directors amongst other affiliations.  Recently recognised by the global publication CEO Magazine as CEO of the Year, Mr Kiernan brings a wealth of knowledge and understanding to his day-to-day engagement with business and commerce, politics and economics and the social environmental issues of the day.

 

Mr Kiernan has served as Director of several companies in the UK and Scandinavia. 

 

In 2014 he set up the ABIS Consultancy Group headquartered in Aberdeen UK. 

 

ABIS is retained by Energy Companies, Trading Houses, Government Agencies, NGOs and Corporate Investors.

 

Mr Kiernan has pursued his philanthropic interests through engagement with the interests of developing countries, most recently Guyana and Suriname in South America. Francis has facilitated engagement with National Governments, the UK Foreign Office, International Consultants, Petroleum Economists and Vocational and Tertiary Education professionals. He has also participated in partnership engagements with UK Universities and in Vocational Training Programmes, most recently with UK Finance and Agri Tech organisations.
